  • Day 01: Arrival at Dushanbe.

    Meeting the group at the airport. Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation. Rest.
    Breakfast. Full day SS of:
    Tajikistan United Museum includes the exhibits on history, natural history and art, Buddha in Nirvana is one of the valuable exhibits of museum.
    Botanical garden-very beautiful garden with many old trees is the favorite place of Tajiks.
    Bazaar- an oriental market is the most crowded place in the city
    Hissar fortress the remains of an 18th century fortress, occupied until 1924 is located in 30 km west of Dushanbe. Beside the fortress are two plain Madrassah, one dating from the 18th century and the other 19th, and beyond them is the mausoleum of 16th century.


  • Day 02: Dushanbe and around

    Hissor Fortress in the morning - UNESCO historical site. Khoja Obi Garm in the afternoon and evening. This is a Soviet sanatorium, still in use, a very cool building in the mountains. You can explore the buildings and the area in the afternoon, get some treatments, and stay there overnight. This is a very "different" sort of thing, we love including it because it's unique and weird, it's not everyone's thing, but I think you would enjoy it.

  • Day 03: Dushanbe - Iskanderkul 130km 3 - 4hrs

    Iskandarkul lake, named after the conqueror Alexander (2195m). Today we'll stay at traditional homestay "Dilovar" which is located in the beautiful village Saratog. Lunch. Afternoon we’ll explore the surroundings of the lake: five springs, Zmeinoe lake (Snake lake). We will . Undertake the short walk to 38m high waterfall which is called “Fan Niagara“. After returning back to Saratog village for the night. Dinner and overnight at the homestay.

  • Day 04: Iskandarkul – Khodjent 310 km 5-6 hrs

    Breakfast, drive to –Khodjent.
    PM. Lunch at local restaurant.
    Mug Tepa-situeted in Ura-Tube is one of the ancient settlements in Tajikistan. It is said the city was found by Kir in the north-east boundary of the empire.
    Khazrati Shoh architectural complex- consists of Khazrati Shoh mausoleum-the grave of brother of Kusam ibn Abbas, Khudayar Valami mausoleum and mosque Namozgoh. There were city cemetery and Medresse too. All these buildings belong to 19th c.
    Bazaar- an oriental market where you can find everything.

  • Day 05: Sightseeing of Khodjent,

    Oriental Bazaar – the biggest bazaars of Central Asia is Payshanba bazaar, one of the interesting places in Khodjent attracting people with various sounds and tastes.
    Museum of archeology and fortification – in the middle of northern part of the city there is fortress of 7-8th c. The territory of the fortress-300x200m. The city was surrounded with wall. It was destroyed several times during different conquers and last reconstruction was in 18th c. The museum was found inside the fortress.
    Dinner at local restaurant.

  • Day 06: Khodjent - Pendjikent 280km 4-5hrs

    AM. Breakfast. Drive to Penjikent via Istaravshan. Arrival and accommodate at hotel. S/S incl:
    Museum of Rudaki – As Penjikent is a birthplace of Abu Abdallah Rudaki, considered by many to be the father of Persian Poetry.
    Ancient Penjikent - ruins of old Sogdian town founded in 5th century and abandoned in the 8th century by Arabs. Foundations of houses, a citadel with a couple of Zoroastrian fire temples and city bazaar are visible in the excavated ruins.

  • Day 07: Panjakent – Dushanbe 275km 5-6hrs

    After breakfast drive to Dushanbe.
    Lunch on the way in some local restaurant.
    Dinner in some local restaurant in Dushanbe and overnight in Hotel 4*

  • Day 08: Free time. Transfer to Airport

    Hotel - Airport 20km
    DEPARTURE, after breakfast transfer to the Airport and fly home.
